Well there is an exception to every rule... and Lady is an exception

to every rule...

Lady is, .... a Lady,   the gentlest daintiest dog I've ever seen

Lady seems to understand the English language.

She is fully capable of giving us a dirty look, a reproachful look, even a "I can't believe you did that" look. Lady pulls up the floor shortly afterthe sun sets, so she can sit and watch the bunnies come out and keep an eye on what the neighbors do. Lady watches TV. Lady, despite bad  hips(see below), despiteher very fine boned structure, is absolutely like fire in motion when she's running. She's breathtaking..... well, she's not exactly a Lady when she's sprawled all out on her back, but we all have our moments.....

Lady was diagnosed with severe both sided  hip dysplasia in July of 2003. The breeder, Wild River Goldens, would not even return our communiccations.We asked her for at least 1/2 of our money back, to help defray the extra vet costs, but we just can't get her to reply. It doesn't stop Lady from being the most extraordinary dog I have ever come across.
