No ONE name was enough for our golden girl

Some things can never be explained, never understood….

So, we are left to puzzle & cherish golden memories….

Treasured and perfect companion, living for her humans…

There to snooze, warm in the sun, side by side with her beloved human as he enjoys the first real day of spring….

There to patiently point those birds….

to run off those naughty squirrels…

There to keep  a pensive  girl company, as she reads in the sun…

to wrestle with a restless boy, so full of energy only she can help him burn it…

to guard an intrepid girl who must rollerblade at night….

There to walk with patient slowness beside a middle aged Mom…

to be hugged and embraced, and to sop up silly human tears when life just is not unfolding as it should…

There to make a mess of one special garden spot…

… with dirty feet to track the van - being with her humans the most important thing

on earth….

Wait, wait, I sense her here, even though she’s gone, now a spirit girl, checking in, now and then, to be sure that all’s alright…

We sense her there now and then, as we amble in the woods....

Fly now, golden girl, let nothing stop your flight… track the squirrels, flush the birds, watch the deer, enjoy the woods, the wind, the sun….

and join us every now and then….
